Chairman of the Committee

 Mr Deepak Shah is founder and Chairman of the SML Group. He has over 50 years of experience in establishing and leading the SML group, building the infrastructure for bringing to market advanced formulations in ag-inputs. Under his vision and leadership, the SML group has been at the forefront in developing and launching advanced crop solutions, which are cutting edge solutions in the market space.

Mr Doshi has been with the SML group and has extensive experience of over 40 years in establishing and leading the sales and marketing function across territories in India, for crop protection and crop nutrient product solutions.

Ms Komal Shah Bhukhanwala is Director with the SML Group. At SML, Ms Bhukhanwala has been overseeing the research, development, intellectual property and introduction of new crop solutions in crop protection, crop nutrition, biologicals and biostimulants, in India and internationally. Under her leadership, SML has developed a global patent portfolio of over 400 patent applications. SML has a pan India and global presence in over 80 countries. She has been working with various stakeholders to address sustainable agricultural productivity through balanced nutrition management in agriculture providing sustainable and natural biofortification. Ms Shah Bhukhanwala holds a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering, a masters in Biochemistry from Boston University and an MBA from IESE Business School, Spain.
